December 2007 - We're back, and are slowly filling in some of the reviews we skipped in past months, with more soon to come! We've just added a review for "Gegege no Kitaro," a children's movie based on an anime. Next month's movie will be Takeshi Kitano's Kantoku Banzai! / Subarashiki Kyujitsu.

Each month Tomo and Taku review a new Japanese movie available on DVD with English subtitles. The goal of the site is to spread information about readily available Japanese films to an English-speaking audience, while also providing a link to go buy the DVD for yourself if you like.
